The bike races in Clear Lake

This picture i took down town in Clear Lake. They were having bike races and sail boat races all day so i went to take pictures. This is a picture of that four that were leading the race.

another sunset

This is a picture i took while sitting at the end of the dock. It had been a perfect day with no clouds in the sky so i though that there would be a great sunset. I went done and sat on the dock and waited. I think i ended up getting some good ones.

railroad

This picture was taken in clear lake by the old high way. It was a run down railroad, and hasnt been uses for a long time. So i went at took some pictures becuase i thought they would be cool.

This is a picture i took while on my way to a friends house in Fertile. At was about 9 o clock and i had to stop to take it cuz it was way pretty.

This is a pencil drawing that i started two days ago. This much took me about three hours to do. I am drawing Kat Von D because she is an artist herself and a very insparational to me.

This is another pencil drawing i did my junior year, so last year. It was just for fun. I didnt have room for any art classes secand semester so i did alot of independent art just to keep up with it. This is one of my idependent things that i did. This took me about four days on and off.

baby feet

This is a pencil drawing that i did just for fun. It is a person holding a baby in there arms. This was the first time i had ever drawn feet so i was proud of how it turned out.

shawn johnson/mark ballas drawing

This is a pencil drawing that i did of shawn johnson and mark ballas. It is the best people drawing that i have done so far i think. But there are lots of things that i can improve on. This took me about a week to finish.

Sunset!!!!!!

I also took this tonight(July 6). I was sitting on the dock just waiting for the sun to go down. The waiting was worth it.

I took this picture tonight(July 6). I went down to take pictures of the sunset and the lady of the lake happened to be out. So i was able to get some really neat pictures with it in them. I thought i would shear them.

This picture i took tonight(July 6). I went down to the lake to get pictures of the amazing sunset and the lady of the lake was just coming in. I love how it turned out and im proud of it.

cool old bridge

This picture was taking in some ladys garden down by the lake. I thought the statue was cool because of how old and cracked it was.

This is a picture that i took while i was at my grandma's for fourth of july lunch. We made a carpet ball table in her basement and i was just messing around taking pictures and this is one that i really liked so i thought i would share it.

This i a also took while the carnival was going on. These two sail boats were just pulled up on the beach and i thought it was a cool photo oppertunity.

Carnival

I just got back from taking this picture. I was down town at the carnival and always wanted to take this picture but never did so i did this time. I really like it but thats just my opinion.

messing with sunlight

With this picture i was messing with the lighting. I really like how the lighting turned out on this one. What i did to this picture is changed the sharpness and i fixed the rotation of it. I also turned it black and white. I like this also.

fire trucks

This is a picture that i took while i was also in parkersburg and it was also at the fire station. Out in front of the station they had all of there fire trucks new and old parked in a row. What i did with the origanal was take it and crop it and then turn it into a pencil drawing using the computer.

gone to the fire station for lunch and
they had all of there gear in there lockers
all lined up so i thought it would be a cool
shot.

down by the lake

This is a picture that i took while i was fishing down at the lake. The day i was fishing they were having a sailing turnament. I think i was more into the picture taking then i was the fishing.

got to have one with the guitar

I took this picture at my friends house. She really wanted a picture with her guitar but didnt want her face showing. I had her stand up higher then i was while i was laying on the floor so we could get this look and angle. I love how this one turned out. If you have any new ideas let me know, im always up for new things.

out and about

This picture was also taken at the fair grounds in Mason City.
I like how this one turned out. I think the reason i like it is
because of the way that she is placed sitting on the fence. She is
sitting on there with her one leg on the botton fence rail which i think makes it seem like there is more going on. One thing that i would have changed would be that i would have gotten her whole body and not cut off her one leg. When i look at my own pictures i cant always see what is wrong with them or what i should improve on. So if you have ideas of things that would make this picture better let me know. Then next time i will know what i need to do differently.

waisting time

This is a picture that i took of my friend. We were at the north Iowa Fair grounds. There was a chained fence that was all rusty and old looking. So i told her to go stand up against it. I left the posing up to her because she being an artist herself knew what would look good and what would make the picture. So this is one of the many pictures that we came out with. I am very pleased with it, but every picture can be made better in some way.

why i started a blog......

I have decided to start a blog becuase a friend and i are wanting to get our art work out for others to see. We thought by having a blog people could see our stuff and give adivice or ideas for new things. We get togeather almost every weekend and work on something new, but have been needing some new ideas. I have also been trying to get new ideas of things that i can draw that are not my usual realistic drawings. so if you have any ideas feel free to throw them out there.
